1. So cool! (also, makes me glad my memory is longer than that of a goldfish).

  2. I was pretty excited to see Google celebrating Eadweard J. Muybridge’s 182nd birthday. Because he was hired to settle a bet, today we have motion pictures! If you want to see a hands-on version, the Amon Carter Museum has a piece that you spin to see the horses run. It’s part of the Masterworks of American Photography: Series and Sequences exhibit and its one of the few pieces they encourage you to touch.

  3. This makes me want to watch The Red Balloon. Or go to Paris…or maybe both.

I wish I could read Dutch, but instead enjoy the interview from The Daily Heller and all the lovely pictures.

  4. Love this cute green camera card!

via Design Sponge: Sometimes a really great color can stop me in my tracks. After picking up some new plants and flowers for my house at Sprout Home this week, I spotted this cute card from Pie Bird Press. Inspired by a classic Savoy Camera, this card is the perfect shade of minty green. Cards this cute are the reason I rarely mail cards and tend to hoard them instead. If you want to drop an extra cute note in the mail, you can grab this card at Sprout Home (in the flower shop) in Brooklyn or online right here ($5). xo, grace

  5. This makes me wish two things:

    1) That I lived in a city where public transportation was more convenient, and

    2) That I could paint with watercolors .

  6. “Mad Season” - Matchbox Twenty

I never noticed the sweet fight-dance sequence around 3:30!
